These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Calm Home Cleaning's introduction and booking services. By requesting a booking you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Calm Home Cleaning ("we", "us", "our") operates as a domestic cleaning agency. We introduce independent self-employed cleaners to residential customers and assist with booking administration and customer communication. We do not employ the cleaners introduced through our platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Booking Services

By requesting a booking through our website, telephone, email or messaging services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. All bookings are subject to cleaner availability. We reserve the right to decline booking requests at our discretion.

3. Independent Cleaners

Cleaners introduced through Calm Home Cleaning are self-employed independent contractors. We seek to introduce suitable cleaners based on availability, location and customer requirements. However, we do not guarantee that any particular cleaner will be available for future bookings. Customers will normally be informed of the cleaner assigned before the first appointment and may request an alternative cleaner.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the property.
  • Provide all cleaning products, materials and equipment required for the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Ensure pets are appropriately controlled where necessary.
  • Inform us of any hazards, access restrictions or special requirements before the appointment.
  • Secure valuables and sensitive items.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are indicative only unless confirmed in writing. Final pricing may vary based on property size, condition and customer requirements. Payment terms will be communicated during the booking process. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of future bookings.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. Repeated late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

7. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with a cleaning service, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 24 hours of the appointment. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate concerns and facilitate communication between the customer and cleaner.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm Home Cleaning acts as an introduction and booking service. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence or workmanship of the independent cleaners introduced. We do not accept responsibility for damage, loss or injury beyond what is required by applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Data & Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
